Instructions. Cut a pear in half to create the body for a turkey. Place the pear half on the bottom third of a large platter or cutting board. Pierce two cloves into the flesh of the pear to create the eyes of the turkey. Thinly slice the peeled carrot. Arrange 2 sticks as the legs at the bottom of the pear.

Then, follow these instructions: Rinse the inside and outside of the turkey with cold water. Pat the surfaces dry with a paper towel. Wash the outside of an orange, lemon, and lime with water. Cut the citrus into quarter-sized wedges with a sharp knife and cutting board. Rinse three or four sprigs of fresh herbs with water.

How to make the fruit turkey face. First, carve out two shallow eyes with a knife. Place a small blueberry in each eye hole. Then, cut the carrot sliver into a long triangle. Toss the apple slices in a lemon juice to keep them from browning. Put half of a pear on the bottom of the large platter to make a turkey body as shown on the picture. Put the grapes around the pear. Instructions. Cut the pear in half and place in the center of a platter. Cut out the beak, wings, and legs from baby carrots using a sharp knife. Add the beak and wings to the pear using toothpicks. Wash all fruit. Peel oranges and slice apples. Arrange fruit on tray from the outside to the inside (as shown). Place carrot sliver and blueberries on the pear (turkey body) for eyes and beak. Serve. Instructions. Slice a small, flat section of the back of the pear so it can lay flat on your platter. Using six 8-inch skewers or paper straws (for young kids) layer fruit pieces onto skewers evenly, leaving one inch at the bottom of the skewer free to insert into pear. Serve chilled.
