A fellow beer advocate dropped off a wonderful, and dare I say unique, Imperial Pumpkin Smash Stout, by Crown Valley Brewing Company. As with most stouts, the color was nearly black, which is unlike most pumpkin ales. Poured correctly, this brew produced a thick, fluffy two-finger head, diminishing into a wonderful cloudy lacing.
