As I have been corrected elsewhere its 1.5lbs. Many bagel places have better quality smoked salmon, some they even slice fresh. And a fairer comparison would be to a deli/supermarket that sells it by the pound , not in a ready to eat sandwich but I agree its still much cheaper. It actually ships frozen to the store.
