Ezpz mats taste like soap. Hey I hope this is posted in the right place, but I'm looking for ideas on how to get soap taste out of ezpz silicone mats and cups. They are dishwasher safe but I think putting them in the dishwasher is what caused the taste. I'm going to be hand washing it moving forward but I still need to get the taste out.

I use oxo which are not silicone they are some sort of plastic. They do suction. I'm not sure if you have tried them. I both hand wash them (I just use regular soap not scent free) and put them in the dish washer and never had a lingering scent. They don't seem to stain except with pasta sauce.
