Howe Park Wood is a 21.4-hectare (53-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest in Tattenhoe, a district of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. It is owned by Milton Keynes City Council and managed by Milton Keynes Parks Trust. Howe Park Wood is a lovely place to take young children for a walk. It's accessible for buggies although like most woodlands can get muddy during wet weather. I walked my baby boy around the circuit in about 20 minutes although with a toddler would take longer. There's a good den building area and lots and lots of sticks to collect.

There are lots of different walks you can do around the woods, and during our visit, we did the circular walk in the centre of the wood, which is a short 20-minute walk - great if you're visiting with toddlers!
