20/20 : Linda Brewer. I found it odd that the story started in the middle, there was no beginning or end. It made the reader make assumptions withe the limited amount of knowledge of the characters. For example "Ruthie stuck to simple observation, like 'look cows.'". The way this was described made me think of her as a simple person.
